1. Milk market professional field staff obtain cooperation of their milk suppliers. Usually selected are the largest and/or those milk producers that are earning milk premiums. Those facilities exhibit pride or the producer has asked about certification.

2. Obtain “Premium” DQA Walk-Through form. (contact DQA Center for email address)

3. Review each “Indicator of Quality” carefully. The friendly staff at the DQA Center will assist you understand each “Indicator”

4. Arrange a DQA Walk-Through appointment with producer. Many do the Walk-Through during herd veterinarian call.

5. Review key points (Why producers should seek DQA FIVE-STAR^SM status, What is the cost and who pays for this) and results of DQA Walk-Through with herd veterinarian.
